Montréal, January 20 2021 - The Commission is proposing changes to Bill 59 to optimize the protection of workers, particularly domestic workers. It also recommends that sexual violence be specifically named in the law to better assess, correct and control the psychosocial health and safety risks that such violence can cause. One of the Commission's recommendations also relates to the administration of pre-employment medical questionnaires and examinations by employers.
