Systemic investigation of the youth protection services in Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean: the Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse finds serious gaps

Following its systemic investigation of the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean’s youth protection services, the Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse has found that serious gaps and important shortcomings are compromising the respect of youth’s rights and has issued 23 recommendations to the Minister for Rehabilitation, Youth Protection, Public Health and Healthy Living, Lucie Charlebois, and to the Integrated University Health and Social Services Centre (CIUSSS) of Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean’s authorities.
