The City of Montréal must serve as a model in the fight against systemic racism and discrimination

​​The Commission des droits today recommended that the City of Montréal develop a policy to combat systemic racism and discrimination that takes into account the specific realities of Aboriginal Peoples, racialized people and immigrants. Considering the City as a key player in this area, the Commission presented its recommendations to the Office de consultation publique de Montréal as part of the consultation on systemic racism and discrimination.​

Montréal, Décember 4 2019 – The Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse today recommended that the City of Montréal develop a policy to combat systemic racism and discrimination that takes into account the specific realities of Aboriginal Peoples, racialized people and immigrants.
