This educational activity kit is designed to better equip anyone who works with young people aged 15 to 24 to address, from a human rights perspective, the history of the Afrodescendant presence in Québec since the transatlantic slave trade. It offers a collective educational approach including various reflective exercises for individuals or groups.
It was developed by the Commission in close collaboration with artist and historian Webster and author, speaker and trainer Amel Zaazaa. The English version was produced with the support of the Canadian Commission for UNESCO.
