Bill 107: the Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse issues its recommendations concerning the Bureau des enquêtes indépendantes (BEI)
The Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse today presented its brief on the proposed amendments to the Bureau des enquêtes indépendantes (Bureau of independent investigations), in which it welcomes the explicit inclusion of offenses against sexual orientation in the mandate of the BEI and makes five recommendations to ensure the independence, impartiality, transparency and accountability of the BEI.
