Black History Month 20 years of sharing and belonging

The Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse is calling on all Quebecers to take part in the celebrations and special events highlighting their fellow citizens heritage throughout Black History Month.

The theme of this 20th edition of Black History Month is “Reclaim our History. Reclaim our Values” and offers a unique opportunity to celebrate the many achievements and wide-ranging contributions of the Black community which is rooted in more than 300 years of Québec history.

Black History Month also allows us to celebrate the values that bring us together and that are at the core of the Québec Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms.
