Québec’s City DYP: investigation findings concerning a former Baptist pastor
Following its investigation, the Commission concludes that Quebec’s Director of Youth Protection (DYP) has not taken the necessary means to insure the security and development of two youth who were under the responsability of a former baptist pastor of Québec city. The situation of the youth had been reported several times since 2004 for negligence, physical abuse, isolation and non-attendance at school.
Montréal, August 19, 2016 – Following its investigation, the Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse concludes that Québec Director of Youth Protection (DYP) has not taken the necessary means to insure the security and development of two youth who were under the responsability of a former baptist pastor of Québec city.
