The Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse issues recommendations in the case of a child who died in Québec City in 2018

The Commission completed the investigation opened on April 20, 2018, concerning a child found dead in the Québec City area. It is now releasing portions of its youth rights investigation report because it believes that some of its recommendations could have a systemic impact and contribute to the future protection of other children.

Montréal, May 15, 2019 – The Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse completed the investigation opened on April 20, 2018, concerning a child found dead two days earlier in the Québec City area. It is now releasing portions of its youth rights investigation report because it believes that some of its recommendations could have a systemic impact and contribute to the future protection of other children.
