2013-2016 Triennial Report of Equal Access to Employment Programs

In accordance with the Act Respecting Equal Access to Employment in Public Bodies, the Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse today submitted its 2013-2016 Triennial Report to Justice Minister, Stéphanie Vallée, presenting the situation of the 330 organizations who were covered under the Act on March 31, 2016.

Montréal, December 22, 2016 – In accordance with the Act Respecting Equal Access to Employment in Public Bodies, the Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse today submitted its 2013-2016 Triennial Report to Justice Minister, Stéphanie Vallée, presenting the situation of the 330 organizations who were covered under the Act on March 31, 2016. Nearly 60 per cent of them were in the second phase of their program for a period of three years while the others had completed or were in the process of completing an initial phase of program implementation. The purpose of the Act is to correct the under-representation of the target groups: women, ethnic minorities, visible minorities, Aboriginal peoples and persons with disabilities.
