The Commission calls for amendments to Bill 40 on school governance to ensure respect for the rights and freedoms of those most affected: students and their parents

​​The Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse submitted a brief to the Commission de la culture et de l'éducation of the National Assembly concerning the Bill amending mainly the Education Act with respect to school organization and governance. At the end of its analysis, the Commission considers that the bill does not do everything possible to ensure the effective participation of students and parents in school democracy.
