The Commission recommends the amendment of the Curfew Decree to prevent discrimination against homeless people

Montréal, January 25 2021 - A letter sent by the President of the Commission to the Premier of Québec recommends that Decree 2-2021 regarding curfew be amended to specify that it does not apply to people affected by homelessness in order to take into account the complex realities and challenges they face and to reduce the risks of discrimination towards them.
