Unbearable findings that we can no longer ignore
The Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse acknowledges and denounces the systemic racism and discrimination to which Indigenous peoples are subjected in their relations with institutions, including within the health system. It also calls on the Québec government to show leadership and to undertake a real and authentic process of reconciliation with the Indigenous nations by responding to the calls for action of the Commission Viens.
